Specialised iPad repair services
Screen and glass replacement, from LCD to OLED
Apple uses several display technologies, and the repair method depends on the model and damage. Sometimes glass replacement is enough; otherwise, we replace the full display module. We inspect the image and check for spots, lines, flickering, dark areas and touch faults before deciding.
Glass restoration: if the panel is intact, with no spots, lines or image distortion, we replace the top glass using OCA, Optically Clear Adhesive, technology. This preserves the original display, and the repair price is often reduced by up to 40 percent compared with replacing the whole module.
Full module replacement: we replace OLED displays in iPad Pro 2024 models and Mini LED displays in iPad Pro 12.9 models released in 2021 and 2022. After the repair, we check Face ID, True Tone, touch, colour reproduction and Apple Pencil accuracy.
Battery replacement and power management
An iPad battery usually lasts about 1000 full charge cycles. Over time, it can drain faster, shut down unexpectedly or take longer to charge. A swollen battery can damage the display and housing and needs prompt attention.
Problems: rapid battery drain, a device stuck on the Apple logo, slow charging, unexpected shutdowns or a bulging housing caused by swelling.
Solution: we replace batteries and use original sealants so that the housing stays sturdy. After the replacement, we run a charging test, check how the battery performs and make sure the iPad charges reliably.
Motherboard (Logic Board) repair
More serious iPad faults often involve the motherboard. Replacing a part alone may not solve them, so we inspect the power circuits, connectors, chips and damaged traces.
Power circuit repair: we repair iPads that do not respond to the charger due to a damaged U2 chip, USB C port, Lightning port or other damage to the power circuit.
Liquid damage treatment: after liquid ingress, we carry out ultrasonic cleaning, stop oxidation and check the damaged circuits. The sooner you bring the device to the service centre, the greater the chance of saving your data and lowering the repair cost.
