MacBook Pro 14″ M5 repair services
Screen replacement (Liquid Retina XDR)
The 2025 MacBook Pro 14″ uses an advanced 14.2-inch “Liquid Retina XDR” display with up to 3024 × 1964 resolution and ProMotion technology.
Malfunctions: Cracks, vertical lines, backlight faults (Flexgate), or video stuttering.
Solution: We replace the complete screen module, preserving “True Tone” and accurate HDR playback.
Battery replacement and power management
Model A3434 is designed to achieve up to 1000 charge cycles while maintaining 80% capacity. However, intensive work with the M5 chip’s Neural Engine or 8K video editing can accelerate wear.
Symptoms: The laptop shuts down with 20% charge remaining, the battery swells and lifts the trackpad or case, or a “Service Recommended” warning appears.
Solution: We safely fit a high-quality battery, check the power controller and explain how to extend battery life.
Logic Board repairs
Most components in the M5 design are fixed in place, so motherboard repair requires micro-soldering skills. We treat moisture damage and corrosion and repair power circuit faults, which often follow the use of poor-quality USB-C hubs.
Cooling system maintenance
The M5 chip is efficient, but cooling must still remove heat during heavy workloads. We carry out:
Dust removal from fans and heatsinks.
Thermal paste and pad replacement to prevent Thermal Throttling (performance drop due to overheating).
Other services
MagSafe 3 and Thunderbolt 4 port repair: We restore stable charging and data transfer.
Keyboard and Force Touch Trackpad repair: We repair sticking keys and inaccurate click response.
macOS installation and optimization: We help configure Time Machine backups and update the system safely.
Why choose Fixas?
Expertise: We specialize exclusively in Apple devices and know MacBook Pro hardware in detail.
Transparency: We agree on the estimate before starting work. No hidden fees.
Quality parts: We use original components or certified equivalents.
Convenience: Free courier service throughout Lithuania and prompt repairs in Vilnius.
Caring for your MacBook Pro 14″ M5
To extend its working life, we recommend:
Avoid full discharge: For lithium polymer batteries, it’s best to keep the charge between 20% and 80%.
Maintenance: Bring the device for cooling system cleaning at least once a year, especially if you work in a dusty environment.
Original accessories: Use only certified MagSafe 3 chargers and quality USB-C cables to avoid damaging the sensitive power circuit.
