Google Pixel 9 battery and common faults
The Google Pixel 9 uses a 4700 mAh (typical, minimum 4558 mAh) Li-Po battery, which typically ensures more than 24 hours of active usage time (in Extreme Battery Saver mode – up to 100 hours). The most common battery issues are:

• Battery swelling due to gas buildup in lithium-ion cells, causing pressure on internal components;

• Rapid capacity loss – after about 300–500 charge cycles, battery lifespan may drop to 80% of its original capacity;

• Slow or intermittent charging, often related to a faulty USB-C port or damaged cable;

• Overheating during intensive use or gaming, which accelerates chemical degradation.

Google Pixel 9 screen replacement
