1. Front protective glass replacement

• The front protective glass (Ceramic Shield) of the iPhone 16 Plus is extremely thin (around 0.4 mm) with a special nanoceramic coating that reduces the risk of cracks and provides up to 4 times greater resistance than regular Gorilla Glass.

• Common damage includes cracks, scratches, microcracks along the edges and shattered glass after a fall. If the damage is minor, replacing only the top glass layer can cost less while leaving the internal OLED module intact. If the glass has separated from the touch sensor film or scratches have appeared, the entire transparent module (screen + protective glass) needs replacing.

2. Screen replacement (complete OLED module)

• If coloured spots, vertical or horizontal lines, stains or flickering appear after an impact, the entire “Super Retina XDR” OLED module needs replacing along with the sensor film (LTPO 120 Hz “ProMotion”).

• The original “Apple” screen provides optimal color range (P3), maximum brightness up to 2,000 nits in HDR mode, and fast adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate. 3. Battery replacement

• The original battery for the iPhone 16 Plus is a 4,400 mAh lithium-ion cell, nominal voltage 3.80 V (16.91 Wh), with integrated BMS (Battery Management System) featuring temperature, charging, and discharging protection.

• Common failures:

  • Capacity drop: after about 500–800 charge cycles, the actual capacity drops to 80% of the original. This results in shorter usage time – the phone discharges quickly even with moderate use (browsing on 5G, video viewing, gaming).

  • Swelling: gas can build up inside lithium-ion cells, causing the battery casing to expand and press against the screen. A gap may appear between the case and glass, sometimes accompanied by a squeaking sound. These are signs of physical damage and a safety risk.

  • Sudden discharge: the battery may lose charge extremely quickly, especially when using 5G, recording in 4K, or playing graphically intensive games. It may also exhibit freezes or unexpected shutdowns at critical battery levels.

  • Charging issues: the battery may stop charging at certain levels or show incorrect percentage readings (“charge” remains at 0% or “100%” is indicated for too long). This is often related to diminishing cell capacity or a damaged BMS module.

• Our technicians safely remove the old battery, check the flex cables and connection ports, and install an original battery or a certified high-quality equivalent. We then test capacity, charging and discharging speeds, and temperature using the latest BMS analyzers. The replacement restores your iPhone 16 Plus to its original ~4,400 mAh capacity and safe operation without unexpected battery drain, while retaining fast “MagSafe” or wired charging.

4. Button, port and camera repairs

• Volume (+/–) and power buttons: we replace melted or worn-out switches, solder in missing wires. Most commonly, failures occur due to dust, moisture ingress or mechanical impacts.

• Lightning charging port: newer versions use the more durable “C94” type, but frequent wired charging or dust buildup can cause the contacts to oxidise. This may lead to overheating or an intermittent digital connection. We replace the damaged flex cable or resolder faulty contacts.

• Speakers and microphones: if sound is too quiet or the microphone works poorly, we check the membranes and connections and replace damaged parts. Moisture or dust in the speaker opening is the most common cause of static or sound from only one audio channel.

• Camera modules: we replace the main 48 MP, 12 MP ultra-wide, or telephoto modules. Signs of malfunction include unexpected focus issues, body shaking without obvious damage, black or white spots in photos, and unstable video stabilization. We use only original “Apple” module components to ensure no change in image quality and optical stabilization.
