Battery specifications
iPhone 13 Pro users have an 11.97 Wh (3,095 mAh) lithium-ion battery (3.83 V nominal voltage), which, according to official Apple specifications, provides up to 22 hours of video playback, up to 75 hours of audio playback, or up to 95 hours of wireless video streaming time. To speak directly about the factory-provided data:

• Standby mode: up to 75 hours of mp3 playback (audio)

• Internet use: up to 15 hours (LTE) or up to 13 hours (5G)

• Charging standards: supports fast charging (20 W or more – up to 50% in 30 minutes). Also compatible with wireless 15 W MagSafe and 7.5 W Qi charging.

Common battery faults and symptoms

1. Capacity loss
   – After 500–800 full charge cycles (1 cycle = 0→100 %), the nominal capacity may drop to 80% or less. In this case, iOS begins to show a reduced health percentage, and the phone may experience faster discharge throughout the day. Sometimes users notice that the battery “sticks at” 30% even if the real capacity is around 10%.

2. Battery swelling
   – Due to gas buildup inside, the battery may swell, deform the casing, and push against the screen from within. This is particularly dangerous, as swelling can damage not only the battery but also the window module or even break the thin logic board. If the battery is visible slightly raised at a corner of the screen or pulling away from the edges of the casing, urgent replacement is necessary.

3. Rapid discharge and unexpected shutdowns
   – The phone may suddenly turn off even when the battery shows 10–20% charge remaining. This is most often noticed in low ambient temperatures (< 5 °C) or due to unevenly worn battery cells. It’s possible that one cell shows a higher voltage than another, causing the voltage regulators to shut down the device to protect the electronics.

4. Overheating
   – Intensive use of 5G connectivity, playing demanding graphic games, or charging with a fast charger (20 – 27 W) can generate more heat. If the internal temperature exceeds 45 °C, the iPhone may slow down the processor (thermal throttling) or temporarily halt charging (safety charge limit) to protect the chemistry from high temperatures.

5. Charging problems
   – Often, a damaged Lightning port or a faulty internal charging IC (controller) causes the phone to charge below maximum speed or not charge at all. The cause may be mechanical contact damage to the port, dust buildup, or corrosion from liquid exposure. Sometimes users think it’s a battery problem when the fault is actually in the controller or the cable.

Button, camera and other component repairs

1. Buttons (Home, Volume, Power)
   – Although the iPhone 13 Pro does not have a Home button (it uses Face ID), we do agree to replace the Volume Up/Down and Side/Power buttons. The most common problem is a stuck or clicking button due to dust buildup or corrosion. We replace faulty button connectors (tactile switches) or the entire button assembly (flex cable assembly) if a stuck button causes constant operation (e.g., locking/unlocking the screen).

2. Camera module
   – The iPhone 13 Pro features a triple rear camera system: a 12 MP main lens (f/1.5, 26 mm), a 12 MP ultra-wide (f/1.8, 13 mm), and a 12 MP telephoto lens (f/2.8, 77 mm, 3× optical zoom). The most common failures:

   • Reduced image sharpness or blurriness due to stray light in the lens.

   • Focusing (autofocus) latch failures – if the image constantly “jumps” in and out, the entire camera module may need to be replaced.

   • Fluid or moisture entering between optical elements – condensation forms, causing blue spots in photos over time.

3. Charging port (Lightning flex cable) repair or replacement
   – A damaged Lightning port is most often due to: improperly inserted cables, dust, or corrosion. Symptoms include charging “pulses” or only one side of the cable holding, or the phone casing unexpectedly warming around the port. First, we check the FPC connector, the flex flat cable, then the PCB part itself for cracks or stress fractures. We replace the original Lightning flex (with microphone and sound integrated module) or a certified equivalent, depending on customer preferences.

4. Other internal component repairs and replacement
   – Microphones (three modules: main bottom, front speech module behind the ear speaker, and a second side module for noise cancellation). They often fail due to dust or fluid intrusion – we replace the entire microphone submodule.
   – Speakers (external stereo: one speaker below the screen, the other in the ear speaker). They may start emitting muted or rattling sounds due to damaged membranes or blockages. We replace the entire speaker module.
   – Sensors (proximity, ambient light, LiDAR). The most common failure is partial or complete failure to recognize proximity, causing the screen not to control during calls and to light up when the phone is not near the ear. We replace individual sensor module components or the entire LiDAR sensor module.
