The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 (models T860/T865) is equipped with a 7040 mAh lithium polymer battery designed to ensure up to 15 hours of video playback or up to 14 hours of internet browsing. Over time, this battery loses capacity – resulting in faster discharge, apps freezing at low charge levels or when charged to 100%, and then quickly dropping to 20-30% within a few hours. The most common issues include:

  • Battery swelling – the tablet bends, pressure appears on the screen glass or casing;

  • Rapid capacity decrease – after 2-3 years of intensive device use, the battery starts holding only a third of its original capacity (about 2000-2500 mAh actual capacity);

  • Does not charge or recognize the battery – faulty charging controller, short circuit, or burnt charging trigger;

  • Software-related failures – incorrect % indication, when the device shows, for example, 40%, but turns off immediately.
    We use original Samsung Li-Po 7040 mAh elements, and sometimes high-quality OEM equivalents. We replace the battery in 1-2 hours, after replacement we check the charging – charging it to 100% and letting it ‘drain’ after disconnecting.

• Charging port (USB-C flex) repair or replacement. The most common issues are poor contact (the tablet only charges at a certain angle), slow charging or no charging at all (dust, bent contact plates). Broken or twisted flex cable, exploded capacitor, liquid damage. We perform:

  • USB-C port diagnostics (checking for damaged contacts, burnt charging controller).

  • Complete flex cable replacement with a new, original component.

• Button (power, volume) replacement. There are cases when the buttons mechanically lose their snap: button response changes, presses are not recognized, and the ‘click’ sound changes. We perform a button module replacement (along with the lock switch on the PCB).
