Professional MSI laptop repair in Vilnius
Fixas is a specialist “MSI” laptop repair shop. Our experienced technicians restore original performance and work with models from the popular MSI Katana, Thin, Cyborg series to MSI Raider, Stealth, or Titan flagships.
We use professional diagnostic and micro-soldering equipment for repairs that other shops often decline. MSI laptops are widely used for professional gaming and demanding video editing, so we aim to complete 90% of standard repairs within 1 hour.
Why choose an MSI specialist?
MSI laptops use design features such as Cooler Boost cooling, high refresh rate screens (144Hz, 240Hz and 360Hz) and delicate hinges. We fit parts that meet manufacturer specifications to ensure stable operation after repair.
Our repair services
MSI screen replacement: We replace cracked LCD, IPS, and high refresh rate gaming screens. Since MSI uses specific connectors (e.g., 40-pin eDP for high resolution), we only install compatible modules.
Battery replacement: MSI batteries, including BTY-M6K and BTY-M47 models, lose capacity with intensive use. Replacement takes 1–2 hours.
Motherboard repair: We perform complex soldering of video chips (GPU), power circuits, and BIOS chips. This is especially relevant for MSI gaming series, whose components experience heavy loads.
Power socket and hinge repair: MSI laptop cases, especially budget series (e.g., GF63), often suffer from broken hinges. We restore the case structure and replace hinges.
Liquid-damaged laptop repairs: Urgent moisture removal and corrosion prevention in an ultrasonic bath.
MSI laptop battery replacement
Intensive gaming and demanding work on MSI Creator models put a heavy load on the battery. Watch for these signs of wear:
The computer only works when plugged into the power supply;
Battery percentage drops unevenly or charging stops at a certain limit;
The case is swollen – this is a dangerous sign that the battery is expanding and may damage the trackpad or motherboard.
We stock a wide range of MSI batteries and replace them promptly so you can use your laptop without its charger again.
MSI cooling system maintenance and “Cooler Boost” care
MSI laptops are known for their powerful cooling systems with many heat pipes. However, high temperatures during gaming promote thermal paste drying. If your laptop has started to buzz louder or lag (Thermal Throttling), it needs maintenance.
Our maintenance process includes
Complete dust removal from fans and radiator grilles;
Replacing old thermal paste with high-quality high thermal conductivity paste (e.g., Grizzly or Arctic);
Checking the thermal pads over VRAM on MSI boards. We recommend annual maintenance for MSI devices to extend the life of their graphics chips.
Warranty and collection service
We stand behind our repair work. For MSI laptop repairs we provide a 3-month warranty. We aim to make MSI repairs convenient.
Free diagnostics: We identify the cause of the malfunction within 10–15 minutes and provide a final estimate.
