With normal wear, capacity falls to ~80% of its original level after approximately 800 charge cycles. Common faults include:
Battery drains quickly (<12 min on the main menu).
Battery swelling caused by electrochemical degradation.
Inaccurate battery level indication or sudden jumps from 5–7% to 100% in ~10 minutes.
Opening the device incorrectly can damage the battery layers, causing a short circuit and damaging the board.
Later updates improved battery life slightly with a more efficient Tegra X1 processor, while capacity remained 4310 mAh.
We recommend original or officially approved replacement parts only. Non-original 6400 mAh modifications may exceed the permitted 4.2 V voltage, causing uneven charging and poor performance.
Important: for battery replacement, the console casing must be opened, adhesive seals replaced, and display tightness checked.
