The most common iPhone XS issues and their causes

1. Battery capacity loss.
   – After approximately 500 charging cycles, the original 2,658 mAh iPhone XS battery weakens to about 80% of its initial capacity, resulting in shorter usage time and talk duration. Over time, the battery may also swell, pressing against the internal parts of the casing.

2. Cracks in the screen glass, color distortions, and sensor malfunctions – Often, it is sufficient to replace just the thin protective glass (digitizer), which is a cheaper solution than replacing the entire OLED module. If there are visible spots, colored lines, or flickering, it is usually necessary to replace the entire OLED module.

3. “Lightning” connector wear.
   – Frequent plugging and unplugging can cause poor contact or complete interruption of the charging cable signal.

4. Button malfunction (e.g., “Home,” volume control, power).
   – Often caused by dust buildup or mechanical stress, which leads to deteriorating microcontacts inside.

5. Camera module issues.
   – The image quality may drop (blurriness, spots) due to lens scratches.

6. Software issues.
   – Sometimes after an operating system update, the phone may freeze or function unstably – we perform an “iOS” reboot, data recovery, and firmware replacement.
