The Oppo A58x has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and Panda Glass. Even a glass replacement requires precise heating, separation and pressing. If a technician rushes or uses an unsuitable part, the 90 Hz controller, touch or picture quality suffers. You notice this as flickering, spots, delayed touch response or coloured lines.
Common repairs
Cracked glass or damaged screen. We replace just the glass if the LCD has no spots, flickering or coloured lines. Keeping the working screen module reduces the repair cost.
Battery. The Oppo A58x uses a 5000 mAh lithium-ion battery. It usually lasts about 800 charging cycles. After a few years the phone starts to discharge faster. Sometimes 12 to 15 per cent of the charge disappears overnight in standby, especially after ColorOS updates.
Overheating while taking photos. For some users the camera closes and shows a message that the phone is too hot. Other apps freeze at the same time. In such cases we check heat transfer and the thermal paste, clean the mainboard ultrasonically and, if needed, replace the thermal pads.
USB-C charging port faults. Slow or interrupted charging is often caused by a loose port, dust, moisture or corrosion. Sometimes the phone shows that a cable is connected but the charge does not increase. We replace the port or restore its contacts. We also test the 60 W VOOC and PD charging module.
Battery drain and faster ageing. Constant push notifications, high screen brightness, mobile data and many background processes shorten the time on one charge. During the check we assess the battery condition, charging current and software load.
Oppo A58x screen replacement
When the screen cracks, replacing the glass is often enough if the LCD shows no spots, bands or flickering. This saves you up to 40 per cent of the part price. If the screen flickers, shows vertical bands or dark spots, or does not respond to touch, we replace the whole module. We use original 90 Hz panels so that the picture stays smooth and touch sensitivity stays normal.
Oppo A58x battery replacement
The original 5000 mAh battery is not glued in with hard adhesive; it is held by two pull tabs. During the repair we remove them safely and fit a new manufacturer Li-Po or Li-Ion cell. After the replacement the phone supports 33 W VOOC fast charging if the charger and cable are in good order. The whole process takes 1 to 2 hours. If you need to stay connected during the repair, we provide a replacement phone.

The MediaTek Dimensity 700 7 nm 5G processor produces more heat under heavier load, so the cooling has to work properly.
186 g weight and 7.99 mm thickness. The body is thin, so after a fall on a corner the internal frame bends more often. Before gluing the screen, we check the frame geometry.
The original ColorOS 12.1 system sometimes uses more battery and resources for a while after major OS updates. If high consumption persists, it is worth checking the battery, the apps and the charging circuit.
